These terms govern your use of HustleBeat at 4thefam.co/hustlebeat. Our Privacy Policy covers what we do with your data and forms part of this agreement.
By creating an account or using HustleBeat, you agree to these terms. If you're using it for a business, you're agreeing on that business's behalf and confirming you're allowed to. If you don't agree, don't use the service.
HustleBeat is software for reselling businesses. It takes the sales, expenses, and hours you give it — typed in, imported from a CSV, or synced from a marketplace you connect — and turns them into analytics and bookkeeping: profit and loss, ROI, hourly rate, customer metrics, collection performance, and Schedule C figures for your tax return.
This one matters, so we'll be blunt about it. HustleBeat is a calculator, not an accountant. Nothing it produces — including anything in the Tax Center — is tax, legal, accounting, or investment advice, and we are not your tax preparer. The figures depend entirely on what you and your connected marketplaces put in, and imports can be incomplete or wrong. You are responsible for what you file. Have a qualified professional review your numbers before you file anything or make a decision with real money behind it.
You need to be at least 16 and able to enter a contract. Give us accurate details and keep them current. Keep your password to yourself — you're responsible for what happens under your login, so tell us straight away if you think someone else has it. One subscription covers one reselling business; don't share, resell, or sublicense your access.
When you connect eBay, you authorise us to read your order and payout records on your behalf. The access we request is read-only — we cannot list, relist, edit, cancel, refund, or message anyone from your marketplace account, and we never will. You can disconnect from the app or revoke access at eBay at any time; your already-imported history stays in your books. Your use of eBay is governed by eBay's own terms, not ours, and we're not responsible for their platform, their fees, or their downtime.
Your business data is yours. You keep every right to it. You grant us only the limited licence we need to host it, process it into the analytics the product provides, and back it up — nothing further. We don't use your business data to train models, and we don't publish or share it. You can export your books from the Tax Center whenever you like, and you can ask us to delete everything. How we handle it in detail is in the Privacy Policy.
You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload, including any information about your buyers, and that doing so doesn't break the rules of a marketplace you got it from.
Don't do any of this:
We aim to keep HustleBeat up and working, but we don't promise an uptime figure and we don't offer service credits. We may take it down for maintenance, and we may add, change, or retire features as the product develops. If we're going to remove something you rely on, we'll give you reasonable notice and time to export.
You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or close it if you break these terms, if your payment stays unpaid, or if we're legally required to. Except in cases of clear abuse, we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix it. If we close your account for a reason that isn't your fault, we'll refund the unused part of your period. Either way you get a reasonable window to export your data before it's deleted.
HustleBeat is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any figure it calculates is accurate, complete, or suitable for filing. Some jurisdictions don't allow these exclusions, in which case they simply don't apply to you.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost sales, lost data, or tax penalties and interest. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited, including for death, personal injury, or our own fraud.
If someone brings a claim against us because of how you used the service, what you uploaded, or a term you broke, you agree to cover our reasonable costs in dealing with it.
We may update these terms as the product changes. For anything material we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect and update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use HustleBeat after that date means you accept the new terms; if you don't, cancel before then and we'll refund the unused part of your period.
These terms, plus the Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between us. If a court finds one clause unenforceable, the rest still stands. Not enforcing something once doesn't mean we've given up the right to enforce it later. You can't transfer this agreement without our permission; we can transfer it if the business is sold.
